Wellies and Waders is a family friendly gardening and landscaping company specialising in ponds and aquatics. We have experience in the complete pond lifecycle from creation, right through to ongoing maintenance, ensuring your pond is perfectly balanced throughout the year. Sometimes a pond can get neglected and we can be on hand to offer some TLC and restore it back to it’s original state.

Wellies and Waders believe that having a healthy pond is essential and should be the focal point of your garden. We will work with you to bring all the elements of your garden together. We provide both pond and garden services and dedicate ourselves to each and every customer, providing the best customer service and offer top of the line quality workmanship every time. Whether it be land or water, with our wide range of services, there’s nothing we can’t do for you.

We can also offer advice and guidance and we are always happy to discuss your requirements in person with free estimates to give you peace of mind without any obligations.

Meet Andre

Andre Crawford is the owner and founder of Wellies and Waders. Originally from the Midlands, Andre relocated to Devon in 2016 and continued working on a self-employed basis, which included working on ponds and gardens. Having worked with his Grandfather from a young age, who also enjoyed building ponds and gardening work, Andre established his love for nature and the outdoors and it was with this passion that led him on to create “Wellies and Waders” a gardening and landscaping company specialising in ponds and aquatics, launching in 2019.

“I would like to use this opportunity to thank all existing and potential customers. I launched Wellies and Waders to pursue my passion for ponds, water features and gardens.

I want to educate and spread awareness on how amazing our planet is and the benefits that nature bring us! Ponds allow us to reconnect with nature in the comforts of our own homes and I strongly believe it’s a necessity to have that connection.

To me, Wellies and Waders is more than just a landscaping company. I like to think of my customer base as family, I want my customers to feel they are a part of a huge community that keeps on growing.

When we are dealing with your pond, why not invite the family around for a fun and enjoyable experience too? We hope to educate and spread knowledge of the pond’s ecosystem, this includes plant identification and getting up close and personal with all forms of wildlife and creepy crawlies lurking in and around your pond water!

We aim to educate and help heal the world as part of our mission. When working on your pond and garden, we take extra care to be sure we do not harm any wildlife or fish.

Ponds play an important role in our local communities. They are a safe-haven for local wildlife, supplying essential resources such as water and food. Ponds are also beneficial to our mental health with their calming effects.
