FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We are often asked questions relating to the various aspects of the Pond lifecycle.  Here we address the most common questions but don’t worry, if you can’t find an answer you are looking for Contact Us and we will be only too happy to help.

Pond maintenance is a necessity in order to keep your pond in perfect condition throughout the year. Wellies and Waders recommend at least 4 visits a year, one per season, to ensure we are making the most of your pond’s health and wellbeing. However, depending on your budget, some ponds may need that extra care with mini visits in between those seasonal visits or you may just want a quick surface pond clean.

Regular maintenance on your pond is usually between £1000 – £5000 (larger scale ponds) annually. Depending on your needs and pond size, we can guarantee to give you a trusted service at a fair price.

The price varies, depending on the size and complexity of the pond build, what equipment you want added to your pond and much more. In general, a pond build wanted for wildlife, would cost a significantly less than a pond being built for Koi Carp. The price range for a complete build, including labour can be anywhere between £1000 – £10,000 and more.

Yes of course. If you want a bigger pond, please get in touch with a Wellies and Waders representative to discuss and meet your pond requirements.

No, due to the amount of services we offer. Any pond repairs are dealt with separately which benefits you as our pond building packages cost a substantial amount more than what it would cost to repair a leak. Please contact us for a consultation so we can deal with this.

This depends on the size and complexity of the pond build, this could range from one day to several weeks.

Yes you can. We offer many different add-ons to suit you. Please speak with a Wellies and Waders representative to discuss any add-on costs.

Yes, we can install water features, including child safe Pond-less Water features.
